Do you have a Vaillant boiler error code problem?
Do you have a Vaillant boiler? If so, and if it’s acting up, this list of Vaillant models and their error codes could help you to discover what’s wrong.
Why not have a scan through and see if you can spot your Vaillant error code? If you can’t, you can get in touch at Herofix.com to book a 15-minute video call to diagnose the fault. Even if you can find your code below, our team of professionals is on hand to discuss your boiler and how to repair it.
Before we go any further, there’s one quick warning… You are not permitted to take off a boiler’s case, remove any parts or unscrew any panels unless you are a Gas Safe engineer. Doing so could be immensely dangerous.

Vaillant Error Codes F28 and F29
If your Vaillant boiler is showing either error code F28 or F29, then the condensate pipe has frozen and you will need to thaw it. This issue can occur during winter, as the pipe runs outside, but you can resolve it fairly easily. You can simply thaw the pipe, without the need to call out an engineer.
Vaillant Error Codes F28 and F29
Error | Possible Cause | Meaning |
